Lightweight notepad for Chrome

Floating Notes is a simple, no-fuss notepad.

Just click on the icon, and a small drop down will be ready for you to take notes in.

No need to sign-in, or worry about saving your notes.

Use it to quickly copy/paste something.

The ZIP file contains the following files:

• manifest.json
• notepad.js
• popup.html

Installation instructions:

1. Open the Google Chrome web browser on your computer.
2. In a new tab, navigate to chrome://extensions or click on the three dots in the top right corner of the browser, then select "More Tools" and then "Extensions".
3. Make sure the "Developer mode" toggle switch in the top right corner of the screen is turned on.
4. Click on the "Load unpacked" button in the top left corner of the screen.
5. Navigate to the folder where you have saved the files for your Chrome extension.
6. Select the folder that contains your extension's files and click the "Select Folder" button.
7. Your Chrome extension should now be loaded and ready to use. You can access it by clicking on the puzzle icon in the top right corner of the browser, then clicking on your extension's icon.
